Blunt. Honesty.I roll toward the right side of my bed to avoid the honesty laying on the left.  Somehow I thought this side would be more forgiving.  The neon glow of the clock is tormenting as the minutes slowly dissolve.  Kick off the covers in an attempt to get rid of this heavy three a.m. heat.  Impossible.  Here I lay tossing and turning, too restless to sleep.  In a flurry of movement and biting back a startled scream,  
I tumble to the ground in a tangle of sheets.  Suddenly this room is much too small and far too warm.  Stuck in that space between the bed and wall.  My thoughts are ringing in my ears Blunt. Honesty.

Work & Me Update

:wave: everyone, I thought it was time for a new journal and general update again.

In my last journal in June I said it would be some time before I posted any new work up again. That may be changing soon thanks to a collab with [link] . Hopefully this will give me the inspiration and inclination to write once again.

I haven't posted anything in a long time due to not being happy with anything and everything I've done, I don't consider myself a poet and never have. What I write is not poetry, it's just me writing thoughts into words in a manner that's readable, I know almost nothing about poetry as a whole.


I've been good since the last journal, mentally I'm as stable as always (my nephews probably wouldn't agree with that ;p). Physically I'm in the best shape of my life and still improving. I've been working out every night for over 6 months now, which I started initially to help me sleep; if I'm physically exhausted I should sleep easier. All I seem to be achieving is increasing my energy level but oh well :shrug:
